The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has decided to put Zhou Yongkang under investigation for suspected "serious disciplinary violation."
The investigation will be conducted by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
The decision was made in accordance with the CPC Constitution and the the CPC discipline inspection authority's case investigation regulation.（Xinhua）
